Advanced Imaging and Diagnostics
We use high-resolution, low-radiation digital X-rays to capture detailed images while prioritizing patient safety. In addition, high-resolution intraoral photography allows patients to clearly see and understand their oral health. For advanced diagnostics and treatment planning, our in-house CBCT scanner provides three-dimensional imaging that supports precise implant planning and improved detection of complex conditions. These tools allow for a more thorough evaluation and contribute to the comprehensive new patient exams that patients regularly comment on. Better information leads to better decisions and more confident care.
Digital Scanning and Same-Day Crowns
Claycomo Dental utilizes advanced digital scanners, including Primescan and TRIOS technology, to capture highly accurate impressions without traditional impression material. These scans integrate seamlessly with our CEREC system and in-house milling capabilities, allowing us to design and fabricate crowns with exceptional precision. With a brand-new 5-axis milling machine, we are able to create crowns from zirconia and lithium disilicate for strength, durability, and natural aesthetics. This technology often allows crowns to be completed more efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality. Digital workflows improve accuracy while making the process more comfortable for patients.
Precision Implant Technology
For dental implant care, precision is essential. Our CBCT imaging and digital planning software allow for accurate implant placement tailored to each patient’s anatomy. We also fabricate custom titanium implant abutments and precise surgical guides using in-house 3D printing technology. This level of customization supports predictable outcomes and long-term success. By planning every detail in advance, implant procedures are performed with greater confidence and accuracy.
Laser Dentistry and Comfort-Focused Treatments
Claycomo Dental offers multiple laser technologies to support both clinical care and patient comfort. Our dual-wave Gemini diode laser is used for laser bacterial reduction, often referred to as “laser cleanings,” as well as cold laser applications for TMJ discomfort and cold sore or canker sore treatment. We also have a newly added erbium YAG laser in the office, with expanded treatment options planned following advanced training. Laser dentistry allows for more precise treatment, reduced discomfort, and improved healing in many cases. These tools support a gentler, more modern approach to care.
A Modern, Thoughtfully Designed Environment
Our office was renovated in 2017 and features a clean, modern design with a high-tech sterilization center that exceeds standard infection-control requirements. We use an FDA-cleared, EPA-registered surface disinfectant with extended protection to voluntarily go beyond industry standards. Patient comfort is supported throughout the office with adjustable televisions in every operatory and thoughtful amenities, including a specialty coffee machine, hot tea selection, and refrigerated bottled water. Even small details, such as our preferred non-sticky 3M fluoride varnish, are chosen with the patient experience in mind. Every element of the environment reflects our commitment to comfort, safety, and quality.
